WELCOME TO

ABOUT ME

’ve always loved reading, but my passion for fiction truly blossomed in my twenties. Now in my thirties, I’ve found the perfect way to expand that passion through proofreading. This work allows me to explore new and imaginative stories while supporting authors in refining their writing, ensuring their stories shine at their very best.

I help bring out the best in your writing by catching spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic formatting mistakes, making sure your final draft truly reflects the heart and effort you've put into it.

INFO

Why do you need a proofreader?

Proofreaders are a vital part of the the editing process as the final step. We catch lingering spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors that can still be present even after developmental and copy editing. We are your last line of defense before publishing and can be the reason your writing not only shines, but leaves a lasting (positive) impression on your readers.

Proofreading vs copy editing

Proofreaders are the final polishers, catching sneaky typos, punctuation slips, and formatting hiccups right before publishing that may have slipped through the cracks, or even been created through the editing process. Copy editors dive deeper, reshaping sentences, fixing grammar, ensuring consistency, and sometimes questioning your word choices. Think of proofreaders as meticulous inspectors, and copy editors as thoughtful architects—both essential to the editing process, but one builds while the other perfects.

What genres do i proofread?

As a long-time reader, fiction is my forte. I specialize in fantasy and romance, along with their subgenres, including those containing adult content—looking at you Dark Romance. While those are my specialty, I also enjoy working with thrillers, mystery, and historical fiction. If you don't see your genre on the list, feel free to reach out to me!
